With experience from working in Brazil, Latin America, Europe and New York NBC has an extensive network consisting of banks, insurance companies, export credit agencies, development financial institutions, institutional investors, private equity firms, venture capitalists, family offices and angel investors.
Through our experience and network NBC is positioned to access capital which typically is not easily available for companies in Brazil and subsequently provide tailor-made solutions to attend the needs of our clients.
Christian David Christensen

Danish-Indian international executive with career developed in the banking industry with extensive network and working experience from Scandinavia, New York and Brazil.
Previous experience includes working for Nordea - the largest Scandinavian bank - in Copenhagen and New York City and heading up Nordea’s Brazil/LATAM operations as the Managing Director of the São Paulo office of Nordea.
Co-Founded Nordic Brazilian Capital in 2018 while also serving as the Legal Representative and advisor of several Danish subsidiaries in Brazil as well as sit on non-profit boards. Solid academic background from Copenhagen Business School, New York University and FGV in São Paulo.
Lauritz Stræde Hansen
Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Danish national with 15+ years of experience working with business development, trade finance and private equity investments in Brazil/LATAM.
Prior experiences includes 8 years as the Brazil/LATAM representative of EKF - the official Danish Export Credit Agency, acting as the Deputy Head of the Trade Council of the Royal Danish Consulate General in São Paulo, Executive Secretary at the Danish-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo.
From 2018 to present act as a Senior Investment Manager and Brazil/LATAM representative of IFU - the official Development Financial Institution of Denmark - and serves on the board of several companies and non-profits in Brazil
Co-Founded Nordic Brazilian Capital and now acts as Managing Partner. Academic background includes BA in Business Administration and Communication from RUC, Denmark, coursework from Yale and Redcliffe Training in London.
Simon Jakobsen
Partner
Simon is Danish national with over a decade working experience with management consulting, leadership and business development across more than 40 countries worldwide.
Before joining NBC, Simon held several senior positions across Denmark (HQ), IMEA, Brazil and Argentina for the world leading MedTech company Coloplast. Most recently, he served as Business Development Director for Latin America, responsible for driving strategy, management consulting and investment initiatives across LATAM. Prior to this, Simon successfully led the transformation of Coloplast’s Direct-to-Consumer business unit in Brazil.
Simon holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business and a Master's degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School as well as MBA courses in Finance & Investment Management from Hong Kong University.
